One Last Look...

What was that noise? I thought as my eyes snapped open. Sitting up only to see a blank wall. My first instinct was to look at the clock hanging on the right wall of my room. Six o' Clock AM. Damn I wanted to sleep in since Schneider was up half the night practicing. Why did my room have to be right next to his!? Well, it wasn't that bad. He was usually very quiet, until recently with a certain song. I sigh and place my palms over my tired eyes, massaging them slightly and yawning. Then I remember it was a weird noise that woke me up. Swinging my legs over the edge of the bed, still trying to adjust my eyes.

"Ugh....coffee first....then I'll check it out..." I groan. Caffiene sounded really good right about now. Especially if I am to be recording new riffs today. Yay thats gonna be fun, I scoff to myself. I finally get up and start coughing a bit. Yeah I know I know smokings bad for you but I'm not stopping anytime soon dammit! I walk out to the kitchen quietly, everybody else was asleep. Listening to the ac click on, causing the large house to crack as it woke up. Morning to you too, I joke.

The suns not even up yet its so early. I sit on one of the kitchen stools as the machine makes a fresh brew. My chin resting on my knuckles. Letting out another yawn I hear the machine beep. Followed by a shuffling of sheets. I look quickly to the left as rabbits do when they hear a twig snap. On one of the living room couches was a lump, it wasn't until I heard his voice I knew who was there.

"I....I don't wanna ride the pony..." Paul groaned in his sleep. I snort and try not to laugh, having to swallow hard to do so. Once he stopped moving I pour myself a cup and walk back to the hallway with the doors to our rooms. I almost make it to mine until i noticed ones opened a crack. It was Schneiders, somethings not right.With a soft trot I go to my room, set my cup down on a small table and turn around to leave. Don't want to wake him up with the smell of coffee. Opening the door actually trying to be quiet for once.

"What in the?" now THIS was interesting. Christoph was sleeping on the floor, wrapped in his blanket. He didn't look so good, skin paler then usual. Concerned I let myself in. Might seem rude to some but screw it. I rest on my knees to get a closer look. Hehe...he looks like a kitten in his sleep. Causing me to smile. He shivers from the cold. I gently touch his forehead, feels pretty normal. I raise an eyebrow as he calms down after I touched him. My eyes somehow decided to move up. Noticing the stains on the sheets.Oh, so thats all it is. I'll admit to doing the same thing with dreams of super models. That made me grin, I look back at Christoph. Back again to the bed. I sigh and get back up. Stretching to one of the beds corners I grab the sheets and give them a tug. Hope hes not a light sleeper like me, I wished. With one end of the fabric in hand I quickly glance back. Phew, still asleep. I work on another corner, still keeping my watch on him.  All right last one, I folded the sheets in my arms. The suns just starting to come out. One last look, just one. He shivered again in his sleep, shuffling his arms and legs. Hmm. I kneel down once more, gently moving his blanket from his stomach to over his shoulders. Making sure it'll stay put. He calms down again. I can't help myself, I slowly touch the sides of his face. Surprisingly he didn't wake up, just move deeper into the blanket. Aw I was hoping he'd purr. I get back up and walk over to the door. Alright ONE more look...I smirk and shut the door. The hallway still silent, maybe thats a good thing. I sigh and go back to my room, my coffee still where i left it. I drop Schneiders bed sheets into my hamper. "I'll take the blame for this one Schneider."
